Policies

Everything you need to know before booking your trip.

Deposits & Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your trip date.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip.
  • Deposits can be paid via credit card or electronic transfer.
  • Trips are not confirmed until a deposit is received.

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a date is confirmed.
  • If we cancel your trip due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, or other guide-side reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
  • If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.
  • No-shows forfeit the full deposit.

Safety & Weather

  • Your safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to cancel or cut short any trip due to dangerous weather, high water, or unsafe conditions.
  • In the event of a guide-initiated cancellation, you will receive a full refund or reschedule.
  • All passengers are required to wear provided life jackets while underway.
  • We monitor weather and river conditions closely and will communicate any concerns before your trip.

Licensing Requirements

  • All anglers 12 and older must carry a valid Oregon fishing license. This is required by state law.
  • Depending on species, additional tags or endorsements may be required (e.g., Combined Angling Tag for salmon and steelhead).
  • Licenses can be purchased online through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) or at most sporting goods stores.
  • We'll let you know exactly what licenses and tags you need when you book.
